Image176_3 I celebrated my 26th birthday last Thursday, October 5, 2006. That day, was my 2nd first day for work at Ateneo. It’s a blessing for me though.

Know what guys medyo tinotopak ko that day because it seems like a regular day. Even though my husband went home early to give me a big hug and kisses and consider himself as a birthday present, I feel little insecure because I expected for a more surprise like flowers, chocolates, or cake and spaghetti for a family gathering. Ewan ko ba why I keep acting like an immature girlfriend. Anyway, we settled the petty fight afterwards. We just went out for a dinner and bought a roll of cake.

Image177_6Image179 Moreover, just yesterday, my husband called me over my mobile to invite me for a date in the mall. When we are heading to the food court to take a lunch, he led me to the escalator going down that is near to the stuff toy stores. Of course, I am fond of teddy bears so I caught an eye to cute and cuddly bears. He told me that I can get one as his birthday present for me.  So here I go, picked the look alike of the big clever bear on a cable TV show, “Bear in the Big Blue House.”

Then, after going to his appointment at a medical clinic, we went to WOF for our favorite KTV bonding. Sweet!Image162Image161_2

The Boar and the Bear in Action! Cute!

Minsan gusto ko na maniwala na mahirap intindihin or spellingin ang mga babae. I see myself as an example! He he! Sorry po Pa, Aaron! I’ll try to lessen my topaks! Thanks for a Image164_1Image163“belated birthday” surprise! I love you!

Plus… plus… plus…

Thanks to everyone who greeted me on my birthday. Thank you Ms. Teya for the pink shoal (tama ba spelling ko!) I really love it. To Charina my baklitang friend, for the mug, it is really right for me pati yung nakadrawing parang ako yun hah! I appreciate you all!

“Back” Office Queen

Image145 I really should’ve only said “Thank you. See you again guys!” to my beloved officemates at ADMU after making a quick and unwise decision to work back with my former employer, let’s call it XYZ Co. Actually, what made me decide to turn down for another contract with ADMU is because of the attractive offer of XYZ Co. even it is a project base work. So, without knowing the “full” condition of the second party’s project, I gave up my job at ADMU. I reported for work at XYZ Co. for one day but quit on that same day. Anyway, I don’t want to talk about it anymore but I really regret for what I almost lost… my nice officemates who have been my friends and family at work, the Ateneo campus ground as well as my way going to the office (UP campus and Katipunan Avenue, kulet! I’ve mentioned this on my last blog post tsk… tsk… redundant!) that makes me unwind, and 2 days salary.

I thought I would end up being jobless again. Fortunately, my boss from ADMU hasn’t found yet a new one for my replacement. I thank the people from my department for giving me another chance to work again with them especially to Ma’am Hilds and Sir Ef. At least, I celebrated my birthday with my officemates at Ateneo, they had given me a warm birthday and welcome back greetings!

Because of this, I remember the parable/story of the Prodigal Son from the bible at Luke 15.11-32, medyo nakarelate me! If you haven’t read it, well please open your bible!
