Wow, it’s been a long time since I made my last post for this blog. I just thought to write some things here about what happened (to me) during the past few months.

Let me fill some space to share you my experiences. I hope I could still remember it all but I’ll try…

So, my last post was on February 19, 2006. Let me start with…

February 25, 2006 our Baguio Valentine’s Trip. My Hubby, Aaron surprised me for a Valentine’s Vacation. Remember my post about our Valentine’s Day when I expected to have an actual surprise (of course, I’m just a girl who still get excited of surprises from their love one) but I got nothing even a single piece of a rose. Anyway, I recieve too much of what I expected a dozen of pink roses frsh from Baguio. Heyeah! Plus, the fact that he brought me in a City of flowers with perfect timing of Penagbenga or "Flower Festival" celebration. Sweet!

March 2, 2006 my end of contract with  KFC.  After my 5 months stay at KFC HR Dept. where I experienced working with new task and meeting with competitive people, here I am now… jobless. Maybe, I’ll talk about it later. I’m confused.

March 3, 2006 I started my long time vacation. At last i got an absolute rest far away either from a stressful encoding of surveys or long heating of my seat. I finally got some time to spend with my husband.

March 27, 2006 I tried my luck at Convergys. After my almost 4 weeks vacation, I was disturbed by a phone call from the HR Dept of Convergys, for an interview invitation. So i showed up! Unfortunately during the initial interview I wasn’t in the mood (it seems I still long for more vacation that’s what he he) so I shake, rattle and roll! Of course what’s the ending of the story… I FAILED! Complete with a remembrance letter saying "thank you for your interest in applying blah blah blah…"!

March 27, 2006 That made me trigger!.  The same day. I invited my co-applicant from Convergys to go to Ortigas. Our feet walked in to TRG… We arrived at Hanston Bldg. around 1PM, we waited for 1, 2 , 3 minutes till it turned into 1 hour. I was little nervous when my name called by a spanish or caucasian looking guy… it was my turn to prove something in front of the interviewer along with 2 other applicants. The interviewer first asked the ever popular question "TELL SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF?" so I answered quickly, brieftly and concise. The 2nd applicant said a long long story about her career, achievements and experiences including her amazing role as a attendance holder or receptionist for the sea games held early this year at Amoranto — though she’s really good in speaking english. While the 3rd one was a simple and shy fresh grad, she made it even she has no working experience to share.

The interview then asked a ala beauty pageant question. The question was "IF YOU HAVE 3 WISHES, WHAT WOULD IT BE?" Actually I never thought it before. So I simply answered 1st Peace on Earth (Sounds like a real beauty queen!), 2nd to get a stable job and lastly 3rd, to help more my family.

Unexpectedly, I PASSED! With a remembrance letter as well. Though this time a Congratulations note and invitation for IQ Test was written on it!

(* I changed my mind, so i didn’t come for the exam the next day)

April 10, 2006 my nephew’s birthday. Just went in our house in Marikina, to celebrate my nephew’s (JOSH) 2nd birthday. What did you expect me to do? Of course… ate till I dropped!

April 12, 2006 my late father’s birthday. Actually I wasn’t able to visit his tomb. My family just lighted some candles in our house in Marikina.

June 23, 2006 It’s our 1st Wedding Anniversary. It was a sunny day, everything was doing well. My husband and I went to Puerto Galera to celebrate our First Wedding Anniversary. It was also my first time to go to Galera so I was kinda really excited.

On our first day, we just took a rest so we could regain "energy" after a 4 hour trip from Manila to Mindoro.

The next day, Aaron woke me up by 4:30 in the morning for his extraordinary surprise! A walk to remember! Yawn!!! We walked along the beach along a stray dog … (well he just followed us) then reminisce about our past but fresh memories. Isn’t it romantic! he he! After few hours we swimmed till our skin get burned ouch! Then Gimick at nights.

Ok so much to tell, after our 2 nights and 3 days stay we supposed to go home that Sunday. Unluckily, all the boat trips were cancelled due to a signal 2 typhoon and that’s why we got stranded.

We almost panicked because there’s no ATM machines which we could’ve withdrawn money. We only have P1, 200 in our pockets. Then we pay 700 to the hotel/inn for our extension stay (salamat sa discount!) so we got a remaining cash of P500. We got desperate, thinking of some plans and solutions for our survival. To the point we planned to move in another island (Sabang) just to ride a boat the for next day otherwise we would sell our cellphones to live for the next coming days if we still get stucked in that resort. Tell you what, after our bonggacious days and nights,  that evening we just ate 1 barbecue on stick and 1 cup of rice each.

Thank God! The next day we were glad that we arrived home… safe and sound. Even though, we rode a full loaded boat (unauthorized trip) and traveled accross a rough deep blue sea. This is one of my memorable experience! Suspense with thrill!

June 24, 2006–July 30, 2006. I don’t know where I have been.

August 4, 2006 I’ve started to apply for a job… again. After I’ve been reading the book entitled “Faith” by Norman Vincent Peale at last, I got inspired and have the high spirit to apply again in call centers. I’ve started to pass my resume on line and in-person at Libis. I was interviewed in some call centers, but have no feedbacks yet. Anyway, even if I have to be rejected for a couple times, still I would try and try then learn from it. I know time will come that I would finally get the job where I am belong to. Kelan kaya yun? He he…

To be contiued…
